We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our U.S. Rebuild team in Burnsville, NC. Through humanitarian work, the goal and purpose of Samaritan's Purse are to help people in Jesus' name and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
In the role of Logistics Coordinator,you will have the opportunity to:
  • Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ
  • Procure materials, supplies, and equipment for the Rebuild site
  • Assist with material delivery to the project site and with check-in and check-out of tools/equipment
  • Liaise with local building suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors. Identify work orders and communicate those to the Project Superintendent
  • Coordinate material needs with Construction Foremen, Construction Workers, and the Project Superintendent
  • Perform safety inspections of fleet vehicles and job sites as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned

What are the qualifications?

As a qualified candidate, you will have the following skills and experience:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one (1) to three (3) years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to obtain a Class A restricted Driver's License and a valid Department of Transportation Medical card upon hiring
