Company Information:
W. Gohman Construction Co. has been a general contractor for over 75 years; we started there and we continue that rich tradition today. We self -perform many services throughout Central MN including all aspects of commercial construction, concrete, stone masonry, equipment installation/relocation, millwright, framing, drywall, carpentry, doors/hardware and light demolition.
Recent projects include the St. Cloud Public Library, the St. Cloud YMCA, and Blattner Energy Addition.
We are seeking a highly motivated Construction Laborer to join our Team.
Job Summary:
Our Construction Laborers are responsible for providing assistance to Construction Technicians and Master Construction Technicians in a wide variety of construction functions, and for performing assigned construction functions independently.
Job Duties:
  • Performs a variety of carpentry functions independently and as assigned.
    • Operates a variety of equipment as assigned, i.e., bobcat, scissor jack, etc., as directed.
  • Assists in performing concrete work as needed.
  • Performs all job duties in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Possesses, provides and maintains the hand tools necessary to perform the responsibilities of this position.
  • Performs other related work as needed.
  • Ability to take direction and work as part of a team

Qualifications:
  • High School or G.E.D.
  • Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 months of construction or related industry experience.
