Job description

Wyatt Refrigeration is seeking a Construction Laborer for Industrial Refrigeration to assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of industrial refrigeration systems and equipment. This role involves physical labor, using hand tools, and following safety protocols. 

Responsibilities:

Assisting with the installation of refrigeration systems:

This may involve handling and moving equipment, materials, and tools; helping with the placement of components; and assisting with the installation of pipes, ducts, and wiring. 

Material handling:

Loading, unloading, and transporting materials to the job site; organizing and managing materials at the work area; and ensuring proper storage and handling of materials. 

Site preparation:

Cleaning and clearing the construction site; removing debris and obstacles; and preparing the work area for installation. 

Basic maintenance and repairs:

Performing basic maintenance tasks on refrigeration equipment; assisting with repairs; and identifying potential problems. 

Using hand tools:

Operating hand tools like wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, and other tools necessary for refrigeration work. 

Following safety protocols:

Adhering to safety procedures; wearing appropriate safety gear; and maintaining a safe working environment. 

Learning and developing skills:

Acquiring knowledge and experience in the field of industrial refrigeration; learning new techniques and procedures; and improving skills over time.
