Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the owner, design team, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams
  • Participate in project planning, scheduling, and coordination efforts
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with company policies, project requirements, and contractual obligations
  • Lead the RFI and submittal processes, including schedule distribution and document control
  • Support project close-out activities, including punch lists, O&M manual development, and as-built documentation
  • Participate in internal and external project meetings and assist with preparation and documentation for OAC meetings
  • Assist in implementing project-specific GH Phipps' QA/QC programs
  • Support preconstruction planning and coordination efforts as needed
  • Assist with third-party testing coordination and design team field report management
  • Contribute to safety preplanning efforts, including ILSM Plans, ICRA, and MOPs as required by the project
  • Support the change management and permitting processes
  • Fosters a positive reputation in the industry by building relationships and identifies project opportunities aligned with strategic plans, and goals
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION
High school diploma with applicable industry experience
Associate's degree in construction management or related field
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred
EXPERIENCE
3 months construction internship experience preferred
TECHNICAL SKILLS
  • Familiar with construction project management software, PROCORE and Bluebeam preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft products (Office Suite - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Plan and Spec reading

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
  • Verifiable work references
  • Successful completion of post-offer background & drug screen
  • All positions at GH Phipps are considered safety sensitive. Position may be required to visit a construction site at any time
  • In person, regular attendance required

SALARY AND BENEFITS
The salary range for this position is $70,000 - 78,000 annually and is dependent in experience and title/rank of position offered.

Compensation
Our compensation package includes a competitive salary, participation in our employee stock ownership program (ESOP) on your first day of hire, and eligibility in our annual bonus program. Annual ESOP contributions and bonuses are dependent on company performance and are not guaranteed from year to year. Both ESOP and bonuses are calculated on one's eligible compensation for the year.
Holidays and Paid-Time Off
Employees get seven paid holidays (designated) and one paid floating holiday.
