We're seeking an enthusiastic Construction Intern to support our project managers with tasks like estimating, coordinating logistics, and preparing material quotes. If you're currently pursuing a degree in construction management or civil engineering and are ready to grow, we’d love to meet you!

Things You’ll Do 

  • Assist project managers to plan and review quantity takeoffs, set up project estimates, field measurement for budgeting and billing, pick-up plans, and specifications, as well as traffic control Computer Aided Design (CAD) drawings.
  • Assist with daily business duties, including, preparing material price quotes, sampling and preparing submittal information for projects, coordinating logistics with customer orders, perform Viewpoint data entry.
  • Input job data into estimating software.
  • Learn about the construction industry through assisting managers.
  • Track supply quantities for billing purposes.

Requirements 

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Currently enrolled in Bachelor of Science degree program studying Construction management or Civil Engineering.
  • Intermediate knowledge of construction industry.
  • Good public relations and communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, deal with budgets, and tight project schedules.
