Garden City, KS โ€ข On-site

Full-time

Job description

SimpleINSURE is a growing commercial insurance brokerage, based in Garden City, NY, built for producers who want to write real business across multiple industries and coverage lines. We currently focus on core commercial placements including general liability, workers' comp, commercial auto, BOPs, umbrella, professional liability, cyber, and specialty risks, with plans to continue expanding carrier and product access. We are seeking sales and operational staff.

Our agency is affiliated with our established real estate and specialty finance platform with active operating businesses, properties, and investment-related entities. That affiliation provides agents with immediate access to existing commercial insurance opportunities, operational infrastructure, and industry relationships, not a cold start.

This is an opportunity to help build a brokerage platform early, with flexibility to grow your own book across any commercial vertical while leveraging internal deal flow, shared resources, and long-term expansion plans.

Responsibilities

  • Place and manage commercial insurance programs for affiliated real estate assets, funds, and operating entities
  • Develop new business relationships with sponsors, co-investors, family offices, and commercial real estate operators
  • Prepare and submit applications, negotiate terms, and bind coverage across all commercial lines
  • Build and maintain relationships with wholesale intermediaries including Amwins, RT Specialty, and CRC
  • Conduct portfolio-wide coverage reviews to identify gaps and optimization opportunities
  • Manage the full policy lifecycle including new business, renewals, endorsements, audits, and cancellations
  • Coordinate with back-office service teams on COIs, policy checking, and endorsement processing
  • Oversee claims reporting, documentation, and advocacy
  • Manage lender insurance compliance and evidence of insurance requests
  • Maintain accurate records in the agency management system

Requirements

  • Active New York State Property & Casualty Broker or Producer License
  • Minimum 5 years of commercial lines production and account management experience
  • Demonstrated experience placing commercial real estate, industrial, or multifamily insurance
  • Working knowledge of commercial property, general liability, umbrella, builders risk, and environmental lines
  • Experience with wholesale and surplus lines submission and placement
  • Proficiency with agency management systems (EZLynx, HawkSoft, Applied Epic, or AMS360) and ACORD workflows
  • Ability to manage production and coordinate service operations independently
  • Non-resident licenses in Florida and Pennsylvania preferred, or willingness to obtain within 90 days
  • Experience with management liability lines (D&O, EPLI, cyber, fiduciary) a plus
  • Construction insurance experience including builders risk and wrap-up programs a plus
