Job Title: Painter Helper $20-$23/hr

Job Description

Join our team as a Painter Helper, where you will play a crucial role in the paint line process. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to handle physical tasks to ensure the highest quality of painted products.

Responsibilities

  • Load parts onto the conveyor belt in accordance with paint line requirements.
  • Arrange parts on carts following specific pallet patterns to ensure proper fit and stability.
  • Perform quality inspections and identify flawed parts for rework or strip-painting.
  • Complete and manage associated paperwork, including reorders and inspection documentation.
  • Operate hoists and other material handling equipment safely.
  • Maintain a clean and organized paint area.
  • Memorize product line assembly patterns and part placements.
  • Strap larger parts securely to prevent movement or damage during transport.
  • Unload painted parts from the conveyor line and arrange them on carts.
  • Inspect parts for paint quality and identify any flawed items for rework or strip-painting.
  • Assemble parts by product line, following memorized pallet patterns and placement techniques.
  • Strap larger parts securely to ensure safe transport and prevent damage.

Essential Skills

  • Experience as a laborer in a paint line or similar environment.
