As a leader in the industry, Infrastructure Systems Inc and Insituform Technologies USA, LLC, an Azuria Water Solutions company, is a global company that has been providing pipeline protection services for more than 50 years. Insituform values employee development and empowerment and are looking for innovative individuals to join their team and contribute to maintaining critical infrastructure worldwide.
We are currently looking for Construction General Laborers with experience working in water and sewer to join our team in Orleans, IN. In this role, you'll work alongside a Lead Groundman, Foreman, or independently to keep projects running smoothly and safely. If you enjoy hands-on work, learning new skills, and contributing to a team, we want to hear from you.
The starting pay is $35.00 per hour.

What You'll Do:
  • Assist with installing trench and excavation safety systems to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Help set up and install underground utility pipelines for water, sewer, and storm lines.
  • Support testing and sampling of installed utility pipelines to ensure quality and performance.
  • Familiarize yourself with Indiana's no-dig laws and the 811 process to help us stay compliant.
  • Maintain general housekeeping, erosion control, and tool upkeep to keep the site organized and efficient.
  • Operate equipment such as pipe saws, pumps, and impact wrenches to assist with project needs.
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining traffic control systems to ensure smooth operations.
  • Drive the crew truck to and from the job site when necessary.
  • Take on additional tasks as needed to support the crew and project.

What We Need:
  • Valid Driver's License with a safe driving record; CDL preferred.
  • Experience working outdoors in the construction or general labor industry required.
  • Experience in the water and sanitary pipe industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of pipeline construction methods, techniques, and tools.
  • Ability to perform tasks that require sitting, bending, standing, walking, and climbing; Ability to lift over 50 pounds when required.
  • Comfortable working outside at job sites with moving vehicles and mechanical operations, with occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles
  • Ability to travel weekly throughout the state of Indiana.
