Position Responsibilities
  • Expert Finishing: Smooth, level, and finish freshly poured concrete floors, sidewalks, curb and gutter, and other flatwork.
  • Precision Tooling: Masterfully use hand and power tools including trowels, floats, screeds, and edgers to achieve specified textures and finishes.
  • Specialized Techniques: Apply finishing techniques such as broom finishes or stamped patterns as required by project plans.
  • Site Preparation: Prepare work areas by cleaning and setting forms or molds; collaborate with the team on proper mixing and pouring.
  • Quality Control: Inspect finished work to ensure it meets exact measurements and safety standards; patch and repair damaged surfaces as needed.
  • Safety & Efficiency: Adhere to all safety protocols (PPE) and communicate effectively with the crew to meet tight project timelines.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience: At least 1-2 years of proven experience as a Concrete Finisher.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in concrete mixing, pouring, curing, and finishing techniques; ability to read blueprints and plans.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform repetitive tasks (standing, bending, lifting) in various weather conditions.
