SUPERINTENDENT
We're seeking a Construction Superintendent, Electric in Henderson CO. The Superintendent leads field operations for construction projects, overseeing crews, subcontractors, and safety compliance. This client-facing role is the primary liaison with customers and vendors. This role balances operational leadership with strategic planning, financial oversight, and employee development to drive project success. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  • Lead and manage all aspects of field operations for utility construction projects
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute construction activities and project deliverables
  • Serve as primary contact for customers, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Oversee crews, equipment, subcontractors, and safety compliance on job sites
  • Drive team performance in productivity, quality, and safety
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop employees to support succession planning and career growth
  • Manage employee relations and development opportunities
  • Champion safety by modeling safe behavior and enforcing standards
  • Lead and participate in job hazard analysis and safety briefings
  • Monitor the activities of subcontractors to ensure compliance
  • Analyze processes and procedures for continuous process improvement
  • Monitor and improve operational processes for efficiency and effectiveness
  • Manage project financials, including identifying change orders and assessing schedule impacts
  • Manage the planning and executing of projects and contracts
  • Perform additional duties assigned

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5+ years of field experience within the Utilities Industry
  • 3+ years of Management experience
  • OSHA 10 or higher
  • Understanding of as-built drawings
  • Knowledge of 811 requirements and utility marking standards
  • Valid Driver's License
  • DOT Medical Card - If driving company vehicle
  • Excellent Computer Skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • The physical activity required for this role includes:
    • Travel as needed
    • Exposure to a range of weather conditions, including hot and cold weather
    • Walking on uneven and variable terrain for long periods
    • Sitting for extended periods in an office environment
    • Frequently standing, walking, stooping, climbing, bending and reaching
    • Manual dexterity for computer use, files and office equipment
    • Occasionally lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
