Job Summary

Bohden Contracting Group is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Business Development Manager to lead revenue growth through new business development, client relationship management, and strategic pursuit execution. This role owns the full business development lifecycle, from prospecting and outreach through proposal support and contract award.

The Business Development Manager will build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities, develop trusted relationships with clients and industry partners, and help secure high-value projects aligned with company strategy. Success in this role requires ownership, urgency, strong sales discipline, and the ability to consistently move opportunities forward.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities within key industries and markets.

  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects aligned with company growth objectives.

  • Execute outreach strategies, including networking, referrals, cold outreach, and relationship development.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, existing clients, industry partners, and decision-makers.

  • Establish trust and credibility through consistent communication and value-driven engagement.

  • Develop long-term client partnerships that support repeat business and referrals.

  • Lead the sales process from initial contact through contract award.

  • Qualify opportunities and move them through the pipeline efficiently.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date pipeline activity within CRM systems.

  • Lead or support the development of proposals, presentations, and qualification packages.

Required Qualifications

  • 5โ€“7+ years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or a related client-facing revenue role.
