About the Role:

PCIW Steel Corp is looking for a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team in Spring Valley, CA! This is a great opportunity to be a key part of a dynamic steel and materials company, ensuring timely and safe delivery of products to our valued customers. Responsibilities:

Safely transport and deliver steel products and materials to customer job sites and facilities

Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of heavy or oversized materials

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations

Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and proof-of-delivery documentation

Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, and team members throughout the day

Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company driving policies

Report vehicle maintenance needs and any delivery issues to management promptly

Requirements:

The Basics: High school diploma or equivalent.

License Requirement: Valid California Class C Driver License with a clean driving record.

Experience: Minimum 7 years of professional delivery driving experience, preferably in construction, steel fabrication, heavy equipment, or material transportation.

Flatbed & Trailer Experience: Proven experience operating flatbed trucks and trailers while transporting oversized materials and equipment.

Load Securement Knowledge: Strong understanding of proper tie-down procedures, weight distribution, and load safety requirements.

Safety Focused: Excellent awareness of workplace, roadway, and job site safety practices.

Communication Skills: Ability to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and team members.

Physical Ability: Able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb onto trailers, secure loads, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Bonus Points (Not Required, But a Plus):

Experience transporting structural steel and fabricated steel components.

Forklift certification or experience operating forklifts and construction equipment.

Knowledge of Southern California delivery routes and construction job site procedures.

Experience hauling heavy equipment and construction machinery.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills

Compensation & Schedule:

Pay Range: $24.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule: 24 to 32 hours per week
