Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting construction materials, tools, and equipment to various job sites, ensuring timely deliveries that keep projects moving forward. Your energetic approach and commitment to excellent customer service will help us maintain strong relationships with clients and contractors alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of the construction process, delivering essential supplies with professionalism and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate commercial vehicles, to deliver construction materials and equipment across multiple routes.
  • Load and unload cargo using forklifts, telehandlers, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring secure handling of all items.
  • Follow designated routes accurately while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients during deliveries and addressing any questions or concerns professionally.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to maintain safety standards and report any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Assist with warehouse organization by helping load supplies onto trucks and maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Maintain detailed delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery receipts for record-keeping purposes.

Experience

  • Prior experience as a delivery driver, courier, or construction related field is a plus.
  • Experience in warehouse settings involving heavy lifting, moving supplies, or equipment handling is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of route driving best practices combined with excellent time management skills.
  • Familiarity with forklift, loaders and heavy equipment is a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) is a bonus but not required.
