CDL-B Delivery Driver

Key Responsibilities:
  • Candidates for this position must have the skills, training, and certifications necessary to deliver commercial tires, oils, lubricants, and other products to customers throughout their territory.

What will you do:
  • Drive a box truck with lift gate
  • Loading and unloading of product at customer location - 55 gallon drums, 330-gallon totes, packaged goods, tires (stack mounted tires 4-6 high, unmounted tires - 8 high)
  • Pump off oil and lubricants
  • Some warehouse duties when route is complete - loading and unloading products using forklift, pallet jack, or drum dolly
  • Completion of required paperwork including work orders, signatures, and COD's
  • Inventory once a month
  • Other non-driving duties assigned by the manager

Position Requirements
What you need to know and have:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a box truck
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in delivering products to customers
  • Knowledge of route sheets and paperwork when delivering products
  • Must have a safe and verifiable driving record
  • Must adhere to all safety guidelines including the wearing of appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment - goggles, hi-vis, safety vests, etc.)
  • Must provide own safety footwear, outerwear appropriate for all types of weather
  • Must meet Federal Commercial driving qualifications, including possessing a valid DOT Medical Card and being at least 21 years of age

When you will work:
  • Monday thru Friday
  • 8 to 10 hour shift starting 7am
  • Home every day
