Job description

Samet is seeking a Power BI Analyst to help promote business operations.ย The Business Intelligence Analyst will be an integral part of the BI team and will be responsible for several data reporting responsibilities and projects.

The ideal candidate could be located in Greensboro, Charlotte or Raleigh. This is an on-site role.

As a Power BI Analyst you will:ย 

  • Work alongside decision makers in Finance/Accounting, HR, Marketing, and Operations teams to deliver strategic initiatives through data analytics.
  • Build Power BI reports and dashboards that provide vital information to teams across the company.ย 
  • Support the Power BI team with data architecture and engineering.ย 
  • Analyze of data from across the company to support management for performance improvement to determine the most useful business solutions.
  • Aid in designing, testing, and implementing construction & business software systems used for operational, management, and reporting purposes.ย 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (STEM field or Business Analytics preferred)
  • Experienced with a data visualization tool such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker, including:
    • Able to write DAX or equivalent for calculationsย 
    • Data modeling for visualization
  • Experienced with SQL
  • Experience with Python, ETL pipelines, and dimensional modeling a plus
  • Strong presentation skills, ability to train others on work producedย
