We are seeking aRemote Regional Civil DesignEngineertosupport theNorth AmericanTarkett Sports Design team. TheRegional Civil Design Engineerwill be workingremotely, with alocationpreferenceinthe Mountain or Central region. ( Open to consider other locations).

Reporting to the Regional Manager of Design, the Regional Civil Design Engineer will be working with the Sales and Construction teams and learn the process of athletic facility design, utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D to lead production, permitting, and performing stormwater design and calculationsutilizingHydroCADand/orHydraflowfor hydraulics and hydrology tasks. Work will be for all levels of athletic facility and accompanying infrastructure design and construction.

WhatYou'llDo:

  • Prepare civil design/construction plans, including notes, details, plan and profile sheets, and cross-sections.

  • Create andsubmitprojectpermittingpackagesto regulatory authorities.

  • Develop construction cost estimatesfor budgeting and financial planning.

  • Perform water, sewer, and stormwater design calculationsfor athletic facility development.

  • Prepare technical reports, memos, andexhibitsto support project documentation.

  • Conduct research and select technical reference datafor project specifications.

  • Support the sales teamwith concept designs and sales meetings with clients.

  • Highly communicative role-must be comfortable interacting withjurisdictions, peers, clients, and supervisorsto ensure project success.

  • Ensure compliancewith company safety regulations, standard operating procedures, and quality standards.

  • Collaborate with installation crews, subcontractors, and sales teamsto resolve technical and operational challenges.

  • Review and approve subcontractor invoicesandassistproject managers in billing, design, and engineering tasks.

  • Oversee project closeout, including Certificates of Completion, As-Builts, and final checklists.

  • Provide subject matterexpertiseto sales and customers to secure contracts.

What you need for success:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineeringor a related field, or a technical school degree with equivalent experience.

  • Professional Engineering (PE) License preferred, withabilityfor licensurereciprocity in North America.

  • Experience in civil site design, including site layout, grading, drainage, water, sewer, earthwork, and sediment control preferred.

  • Proficiencyin AutoCAD Civil 3Dfordrafting and design.

  • Strong multitasking and crisis management skills, including handling customer service demands,constructionRFIs, and installation challenges.

  • Experience with bidding and estimating processes, ensuring proper budget allocation and projectscopecompletion.

  • Ability to track projectsandmaintaincommunication with project teams, customers, and sales throughout execution.

  • Knowledge of material complianceand subcontractor coordination, including visiting regional aggregate quarries and civil partners.

  • Professional Engineersencouragedto apply.

  • Moderate possible overnight travel within continental US, up to20%.
