Position Summary
The Construction Assistant will assist with coordinating construction activities as required to meet production schedules and established quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness, security and appearance of job sites
- Perform load counts for dirt removal
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of construction trailer
- Take delivery of appliances and light fixtures to homes for installation.
- Inventory material deliveries for hardware, windows, light fixtures and appliances.
- Maintain company storage facility and inventory therein.
- Perform pick up items that do not fall in a Trade Partner's scope of work.
- Report any necessary repairs or problems, damage, or hazardous conditions on homes under construction to the Site Manager.
- Coordinate SWPPP activities and reports
- Learn and understand construction schedule, sequence of work and requirements.
Key Qualification
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Prior construction experience preferred.
Base Salary:
The expected base salary for this position is between $52,000 - $62,400 per year, depending on experience and skillset. Base salary is paid bi-weekly.

Physical Requirements
Requires the ability to bend, climb, lift from 1-50 pounds, reach, see, stand, sit, walk on uneven terrain, hear, type and talk. Job will often require working in heat, cold or inclement weather. May have exposure to hazardous materials and require personal protective equipment such as eye, respiratory and hearing protection. This job is located on a construction site and may require wearing hard hat and steel toe boots.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not supervise other employees.
Travel Requirements:
Occasional travel may be required. A valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance is required at all times.
