Job description

Field Technician Assistant
Environmental and Safety Solutions Inc. is searching for a Field Technician Assistant to function as the second person on a field crew. The ideal candidate will enjoy working outdoors and be comfortable in confined spaces. Prior background in construction, landscaping, surveying, utility works, or working outside with hand tools, is a plus!

Location: Erlanger, KY
Pay: $22.00 per hour

Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and policies/procedures.
  • All required safety and field operations training will be supplied.
  • This position will perform the function of the second person on a field crew.
  • Will be required to perform confined space entry into utility and sewer manholes.
  • Must pass company physical and be physically capable of lifting heavy (50 pounds) objects.
  • Performs outdoor fieldwork in all weather conditions, within streets, easements, and off-road.
  • Maintain accurate, legible organized records in accordance with Operations Quality Work Instructions.
  • Responsible for operating and maintaining issued equipment and vehicles associated with the above product lines.

Requirements:
  • Team player.

  • Mechanical inclined.
  • Basic computer experience.
  • Basic knowledge of electronics.
  • Working outdoors 100% of the time.
  • Must be aware of surroundings with hazardous conditions.
