Job Responsibilities
  • Support the project team with day-to-day coordination, documentation, communication, and follow-up.
  • Develop an understanding of project drawings, specifications, subcontractor agreements, purchase orders, and project requirements.
  • Assist or lead preparation, tracking, submitting, and distributing RFIs.
  • Assist with reviewing, tracking, and submitting submittals to support compliance with project documents.
  • Maintain project logs, including submittal, RFI, procurement, and closeout tracking.
  • Support material procurement by gathering lead times, tracking deliveries, and communicating potential schedule impacts.
  • Take meeting minutes, document action items, and follow up on commitments and deadlines.
  • Assist with identifying, documenting, and tracking cost impacts related to RFIs, submittals, and project changes.
  • Support and or lead the punch list and closeout process by gathering, reviewing, and organizing required documentation.
  • Assist with document control to ensure project information is accurate, current, and stored in the proper locations.
  • Participate in QA/QC processes, field walks, safety observations, and project documentation.
  • Attend project meetings and scheduling discussions to better understand project sequencing and field coordination.
  • Build positive working relationships with project teams, owners, design partners, subcontractors, and field personnel.
  • Identify problems, ask questions, seek resources, and escalate issues when appropriate.
  • Other duties may be assigned at any time.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Internship or construction-related experience preferred.
  • 1-3 years of construction-related experience preferred.
  • Basic understanding of commercial construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and project documentation preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to track, organize, and follow up on project information.
  • Ability to manage individual time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to solve practical problems, ask thoughtful questions, and seek guidance when needed.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn from office and field team members.
  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft 365, Revit, Navisworks, or similar construction technology preferred.
  • OSHA 30, stormwater, QA/QC, or other project-related training preferred or ability to complete after hire.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in both office and active construction jobsite environments.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, and navigate uneven terrain.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment when on jobsites.
  • Ability to use a computer, phone, and standard office equipment for extended periods of time.
  • May be exposed to typical construction site conditions, including noise, dust, weather, equipment, and varying temperatures.

Salary:
The salary range for this position is $76,000 - $87,000 per year. Salary to be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, location where job is performed.
