Traveling Corporate Support Manager - Consolidated Management

Consolidated Management Company is a contract food service company whose business line is in Higher Education, Business and Industry Cafeterias and County Correctional Facilities. Consolidated Management operates in 12 central states - Minnesota to Missouri and Colorado to Tennessee
We have an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Support Manager! In this role, you will have hands on field responsibility to support locations, including training and development of our managers and teams, coverage during gaps in management, and onboarding new staff at locations throughout our footprint.
Must have Food Service Management Experience
Responsibilities
  • Must be able to travel (have a valid driver license and be willing to be on the road, sometimes multiple weeks at a time)
  • Hands on – be willing to put an apron on and cook and wash the dishes
  • Actively support Operations in Training and Execution of Managers and Hourly Staff
  • Ability to be flexible, prioritize daily activities, and strong multi-tasking abilities
  • Ability to work all hours/days based on assignment.
  • Coverage of units during gaps of management
  • Focus against excellent execution of our operating standards and the ability to demonstrate and teach our teams how to achieve excellence
  • Demonstrates drive for taking personal initiative and completing goals without close supervision “Whatever it takes mindset”
  • Strong organizational skills, with ability to work independently and multi-task in a complex, fast-paced, deadline/timeline driven environment
  • Solid management skills
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated strong leadership with teams, groups and/or project work
  • Experience with communicating clearly/concisely at all levels.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to draw upon a wide variety of information from teams in order to effectively support operations
  • Ability to support multiple Company Leaders such as Regional Managers and Leadership Team
Required Experience:
  • Food Service Management Operations Experience with either colleges or correctional facilities
  • Ordering and Inventory Control
  • Located in Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa
  • Ability to travel with an open schedule
Experience
  • Multi Unit Experience
  • Knowledge of Staffing and Scheduling to meet business volume
  • Experience or worked with catering
  • Computer Skills that include Microsoft Office Applications and basic troubleshooting
