The Opportunity
The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations in the Production Department. The Production Supervisor will also use the company's production goals to create work and production schedules, monitor quality, and ensure products are processed efficiently.
How you will impact Smurfit Westrock Packaging Solutions:
  • Manage 1st Shift Operations and support BOD and all Warehouse teams

  • Closely monitor the compliance with all safety policies and operation of equipment.
  • Research, recommend, and implement appropriate equipment to ensure safe transport and storage of all products.
  • Maintain quality processes and measures to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee the completion of all required paperwork and data entry by the warehouse team.
  • Coordinate scheduling and routes with drivers.
  • Fulfill customer orders as needed, including all material handling.
  • Ensure materials are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures. Oversees the rotation of inventories within the warehouse.
  • Planning loading and routing trucks for delivery
  • Monitor and measure warehouse performance and quality metrics. Provide reporting to management as required.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on all material handling.
  • Keep warehouse accessible and safe for sales and administrative staff.
  • Meet with customers, in partnership with the sales representative, to discuss warehouse capabilities or concerns.
  • Work with packaging engineers/designers to meet customer needs.
  • Attend participation in company leadership meetings, as required.
  • Fulfill customer orders as needed, including all material handling.

  • Other duties as assigned.

What you need to succeed:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • High School Diploma required
  • 5+ plus years' experience as a Production Supervisor in a distribution or manufacturing environment
  • Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
  • Intermediate computer skills required, MS Word, Excel, Outlook
