Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) specializing in pain management. This role is responsible for providing high-quality perioperative nursing care, including the safe administration and monitoring of moderate sedation. The ideal candidate is experienced in outpatient procedural settings, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and prioritizes patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative nursing care for pain management procedures
  • Administer and monitor moderate (conscious) sedation in accordance with established protocols and regulatory standards
  • Continuously assess and monitor patients’ vital signs, airway, and level of consciousness during procedures
  • Assist physicians during interventional pain procedures (e.g., epidural injections, nerve blocks, RF ablations)
  • Ensure proper documentation of medications, sedation records, and patient responses
  • Educate patients and families on procedures, post-procedure care, and discharge instructions
  • Maintain a sterile and safe procedural environment
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and participate in code situations as needed
  • Ensure compliance with ASC policies, infection control standards, and accreditation requirements

Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of [Insert State]
