Description
We are seeking a seasoned Manager of Inside Sales with technology B2B sales experience and MSP experience preferred, to lead, develop, and transform our Account Management (AM) team. Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will drive strategic initiatives that fuel revenue growth through renewals, cross selling, and churn reduction. You will lead a team of Five 5-9 Account Managers-ranging from long-tenured legacy professionals to recent hires-and instill a culture of proactive client engagement and accountability. What You'll Do
  • Strategic Leadership & Execution:
  • Work with the team to uncover opportunities in new and existing clients.
  • Focus the team on business development skills to grow the business
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to drive renewals and cross selling across the team.
  • Lead regular pipeline review meetings to ensure the team's outreach consistently meets business objectives.
  • Team Development & Management:
  • Mentor, train, and hire talent to build an Account Management team with strong MSP sales capabilities.
  • Transition the team from a reactive, spreadsheet-based approach to a proactive, Connectwise driven methodology.
  • Operational Excellence:
  • Oversee the integration of data from multiple systems into ConnectWise as part of a long-term roadmap.
  • Utilize your deep understanding of ConnectWise and data management to optimize client records, track renewals, and identify new revenue opportunities.
  • Ensure best practices in client relationship management and upselling/cross selling are consistently applied across the team.
  • Hands-On Leadership:
  • Join AMs on client calls when needed-whether closing a challenging deal or addressing client issues-to drive results.
  • Serve as the customer advocate, ensuring every interaction aligns with our commitment to an exceptional client experience.

Requirements
What We're Looking For
  • Proven Leadership in a Technology firm: This is someone with extensive technology sales experience in account management and leadership ideally but not limited to an MSP environment. This individual should also have a demonstrated track record of successfully leading teams and driving sales.
  • Strategic & Tactical Expertise: A history of developing and executing strategies that deliver revenue growth through renewals, cross selling, and customer transition reduction.
  • ConnectWise & Data Savvy: Ideally but not limited to being proficient in ConnectWise if not another mainstream CRM with the ability to manage and analyze large datasets effectively.
  • Transformational Leadership: Experience transitioning teams from legacy processes to modern, data-driven systems.
  • Hands-On Coaching: A leader who is comfortable both strategizing at a high level and working side-by-side with team members during client interactions or deal closures.
  • In Office Based: Must be located in New York Metro Area preferably close to northern NJ.
  • Excellent Communicator: Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills to effectively manage internal teams and external client relationships.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree: Engineering, Computer Sciences Business, or Communications
  • Minimum 2-3 years carrying an individual quota and 2-3 years managing a team.
