Overview
We are seeking an experienced AWS Connect Developer to design, build, and support scalable cloud-based contact center solutions. This role will focus on AWS Connect architecture, integrations, automation, AI-driven customer experiences, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong AWS expertise, software development experience, and the ability to lead technical initiatives in a collaborative Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Architect, develop, and maintain AWS Connect-based contact center solutions.
  • Design and implement integrations with AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, S3, SNS, and SQS.
  • Develop custom contact flows, real-time analytics, and AI-powered automation solutions.
  • Build and maintain integrations with CRM platforms, third-party APIs, and enterprise applications.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Integrate AI/ML services for chatbots, speech analytics, sentiment analysis, and customer experience enhancements.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize AWS Connect environments for performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Manage AWS IAM users, groups, roles, and policies to ensure secure connectivity between AWS resources.
  • Implement security best practices and maintain compliance with PCI-DSS, GDPR, and other industry standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments, incident response planning, and availability management activities.
  • Lead and mentor software engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, product teams, and UX teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.
  • Support Agile development processes, including sprint planning, execution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on cloud-native development.
  • 3+ years of hands-on AWS experience, specifically with AWS Connect.
  • Strong experience with AWS IAM, including user, role, policy, and permissions management.
  • Proficiency in one or more backend development languages:
    • Python
    • Node.js
    • C#
    • Java
  • Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, particularly within AWS Connect environments.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • AWS Certifications.
  • Experience with VoIP, SIP, WebRTC, and contact center technologies.
  • Experience leading engineering teams and mentoring junior developers.
  • Familiarity with enterprise-scale cloud architectures and technology roadmaps.
