Job description

Who We Are

BWG Global is a custom research firm producing institutional investor-focused primary research - quantitative surveys, channel checks, and expert-informed data products that give asset managers, hedge funds, and corporate clients a proprietary edge on the companies and sectors they cover. Our Survey & Custom Research team designs, fields, and delivers rigorous, defensible data across Technology, Media/TMT, Consumer, Cyclicals/Industrials, Healthcare, Financials, and Semiconductor/Hardware verticals.

Who You Are

We are looking for a detail-driven Research Project Manager to own the end-to-end operational execution of custom survey and research projects - from questionnaire programming through panel recruitment, fielding, quality control, and final data delivery. This role is the operational backbone of each engagement, working closely with sector research leads, sales, and clients to ensure every project is delivered on time, within budget, and with data integrity our clients can trust.

What You'll Do

Survey Programming & Fielding

  • Program quantitative surveys in platforms such as Qualtrics, translating questionnaire drafts into fully logic-tested, client-ready instruments.
  • Build and QC skip logic, quota structures, randomization, and piping; conduct full-path testing prior to launch.
  • Coordinate soft-launch and full-launch timing with sector research leads.

Project Management

  • Manage day-to-day timelines, milestones, and deliverables across multiple concurrent survey and custom research projects.
  • Serve as the primary point of coordination between internal sector teams (Technology, Media/TMT, Consumer, Cyclicals/Industrials, Healthcare, Financials, Semiconductor/Hardware), sales, and clients.
  • Track project status, fielding pace, and budget against plan; flag risks and proactively resolve bottlenecks.
  • Maintain accurate project records in Salesforce and internal pipeline trackers.

Panel Recruitment & Sample Sourcing

  • Source and recruit qualified respondents for hard-to-reach B2B and institutional audiences using professional networks, and prospecting tools such as Qualtrics, Apollo.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo.
  • Build and refine targeting lists by title, seniority, company, and firmographic/segment criteria to hit quota and incidence-rate targets.
  • Monitor recruitment funnels and adjust sourcing strategy in real time to protect fielding timelines.

Data Quality Control & Validation

  • QC incoming survey data for straight-lining, speeding, inconsistent logic, and other data-quality red flags; clean and validate datasets prior to analysis or delivery.
  • Verify quota compliance, screener logic, and weighting inputs against project specifications.
  • Partner with analysts to reconcile any discrepancies between fielded data and expected respondent profiles before reports are finalized.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Support pricing and feasibility discussions for new custom research proposals.
  • Provide status updates and pipeline visibility to leadership and sales stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of internal workflows, templates, and QC checklists.
What You Bring
  • 2-5+ years of experience in market research operations, project management, or panel/sample management (custom or syndicated research, market research agency, or insights firm background preferred).
  • Hands-on experience programming surveys in Decipher/Forsta, Confirmit, Qualtrics, or a comparable platform.
  • Working knowledge of B2B/institutional respondent sourcing and prospecting tools (Apollo.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, or similar).
  • Strong data QC instincts - comfortable working in Excel and reviewing raw data for logic, quota, and quality issues.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills; able to run multiple concurrent projects against firm deadlines.
  • Clear written and verbal communication; comfortable coordinating across research, sales, and external vendor stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or a comparable CRM/pipeline tracking tool is a plus.
  • Prior exposure to institutional investor research or financial services research is a plus but not required
What We Offer
  • The opportunity to work at the operational core of a fast-growing custom research business serving top-tier institutional clients.
  • Direct exposure to sector research leads and sales leadership across every major industry vertical.
  • A collaborative, detail-oriented team culture where quality and client trust come first.
