Viracon LLC

Viracon is a leader in architectural glass. We are the largest single site glass fabricator in the U.S. and one of the largest in the world. We offer over a million customizable options for customers unique specifications in the architectural glass industry.

We are looking for a Project Manager I to join our team! In this position you will have a hand in the process of building some of the most elegant large-scale buildings across the world.

Function:

In this role, the Project Manager I must have the ability to interpret customer purchase orders and accurately manage project orders utilizing Viracon's systems to ensure the integrity of all transactions. This includes verifying quotation and order information with Viracon's customers. This individual will follow the standard processes in place for all project management levels within Viracon's sales department.

Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, the Project Manager I will be assigned small level projects and orders to manage. This individual must possess knowledge of Viracon's products, manufacturing capabilities and limitations and work closely in a partnering relationship with Viracon's customers and field sales team.

This position provides a 6-9 month training program for teaching on Viracon products, services, and internal systems.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, interpret and prepare orders and small-scale projects for entry into Viracon's Viper system.
  • Assist the project management team during employee absences to ensure timely order processing and completion of all other project management tasks.
  • Delegate prepared orders to the order entry team for processing.
  • Responsible for order accuracy and completed order confirmation back to the customer for review.
  • Manage multiple orders/projects concurrently with minimal supervision and provide excellent customer service throughout the duration of all transactions.
  • Problem-solve, make decisions and work to resolve issues.
  • Consistently communicate with internal and external customers to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
  • Apply and utilize knowledge of Viracon's product offerings, production capabilities, and product limitations.
  • Maintain project/order files with required order information according to Viracon's filing retention policies.
  • Utilize all technical tools used by the sales department.
  • Follow all processes documented in Viracon's Business Process System.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Sales Management Team.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED required. An Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years of customer service and/or order entry experience preferred.
  • Must have the ability to learn and perform the requirements of Project Management 1 role during 6-9 month training program.
  • Strong attention to detail, self-organizational skills, and ability to multi-task.
  • Knowledge of fractions, decimals, and geometric patterns.
  • Ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the company.
  • Strong interpersonal and listening skills.
  • A motivated, self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Regular, full-time attendance.
  • Ability to promote Viracon in a positive manner with adherence to company policies.

Salary Range:

$52,000-$72,000
