PAY RATE: $75-85/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (Up to 11 months with potential for extension)

  • Clearance: Active Secret Clearance

  • Schedule: 5/40, 1st Shift

Summary: 

  • Plan, conduct, and coordinate GNC software development and integration activities.

  • Merge GNC software into simulations and flight software using configuration management tools.

  • Design, develop, document, test, and debug software implementing logical and mathematical GNC algorithms.

  • Coordinate pipeline, test, and Monte Carlo simulation runs on computer clusters.

  • Apply standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the software development lifecycle.

  • Utilize knowledge of computer hardware, software, and mission applications to develop effective software solutions.

  • Correct program errors, prepare operating instructions, and maintain documentation of software development.

  • Analyze system capabilities to resolve program intent, output requirements, input acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.

  • Ensure compliance with software development standards.

Requirements:

  • Active Secret Clearance required.

  • Strong experience in GNC software development, testing, and integration.

  • C++ – 2-4 years experience

  • Matlab – 1-2 years experience

  • Configuration Management – 1-2 years experience

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Desired Skills:

  • Debug – 1-2 years experience

  • Testing and Development – 1-2 years experience
