Job description

This team plays a critical role in supporting insurance application operations and system integrations by managing lender configurations and producing essential documentation across complex technical environments. The position is responsible for configuring and maintaining lender profiles in the source system, validating and delivering test files that meet client specifications. The team also monitors lender cycles, resolves discrepancies, and develops high quality documentation that clearly explains system architectures, product configurations, and integration rules. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail and close collaboration with engineers, product owners, and analysts to translate technical requirements into clear, user friendly resources.Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Needs Analysis & Audit - 25%

  • Review service agreements/needs analysis and capture requirements for lender setups.
    • Lead product analysis calls for lender configuration.
    • Configure new CPI/LPI and Tracking lenders within source system.
    • QA/QC for setup and configuration changes.
  • Analyze business processes and client use cases to ensure configurations align with intended workflows and system capabilities.
  • Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and risks in requirements before configuration begins, reducing unnecessary delays.
  • Validate requested configurations to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with current product functionality.
  • Support root cause analysis efforts by reviewing configurations contributing to production issues or client escalations, then document any necessary changes to configuration templates that will prevent the same issue in the future.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to escalate limitations, defects, or enhancement opportunities uncovered during analysis.

Measures of Success - 25%

  • Support department leaders in improving operational metrics by contributing to continuous improvement and quality metrics across processes.
  • Analyze configuration-related data and trends to identify opportunities for improving efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Support initiatives aimed at improving SLA adherence, including faster turnaround times and reduced rework.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts, including process optimization, standardization, and automation opportunities.
  • Provide input into metric development, reporting, and scorecards to better reflect configuration, team performance, and impact.

Documentation - 25%

  • Standardize documentation practices and templates.
    • Engage with technical experts to ensure documentation accuracy.
    • Collaborate on process evolution and stay current with industry trends.
    • Document existing layouts, audit current assets, and define layout structure.
    • Create comprehensive documentation with version control.
    • Develop diagrams, flow maps, and product configuration rules.
    • Maintain real-time relevance of documentation through versioning.
    • Deliver user-centered documentation outputs.
  • Ensure all configuration changes are documented with clear rationale, requirements traceability, and impact assessment.
  • Ensure documentation is stored in centralized, accessible repositories and kept current as configurations evolve.
  • Continuously improve documentation practices to enhance clarity, usability, and efficiency for cross-functional teams.

Collaboration - 15%

  • Partner with Development Team on system enhancements and bug fixes.
    • Collaborate on data transformation projects and compliance initiatives.
    • Assist with system enhancement testing.
  • Partner with Implementation teams to ensure clear understanding of client requirements, timelines, and configuration expectations during onboarding.
  • Work closely with support teams to troubleshoot production issues and ensure smooth handoff of configured clients post-go-live.
  • Provide knowledge transfer and documentation to downstream teams to support ongoing maintenance and issue resolution.

Support - 10%

  • Process help desk tickets related to lender updates and setup changes.
  • Handle special compliance projects and troubleshooting lender setups.
Qualifications (Education, Experience, Certifications & KSA):
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate's degree in information systems or business administration preferred.
  • 3-4 years of work-related experience required.
