Your Opportunity

BDO Digital is currently looking for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Asset Management Consultant to join our growing Dynamics F&O Practice, with the ability to work from anywhere in Canada.

This is a new role and the individual will own the following responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to external customers and BDO project teams in support of client ERP implementations, with a focus on Dynamics 365 F&O Asset Management

  • Perform a lead Asset Management consultant role on larger projects where multiple functional consultants are engaged, providing mentorship and guidance to other consultants

  • Analyze customer business needs and objectives related to asset-intensive operations and provide in-depth application expertise in Asset Management and related SCM areas

  • Design and implement end-to-end maintenance management solutions, including asset hierarchies, preventive maintenance, work orders, and resource scheduling

  • Streamline customer maintenance, reliability, and asset lifecycle processes to achieve greater ROI within the Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, Enterprise Edition suite

  • Collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Finance, and Manufacturing consultants to ensure integrated solutions (inventory, procurement, production, costing)

  • Support and lead system configuration, testing, data migration, and deployment activities for Asset Management

  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to client staff to support day-to-day maintenance and asset management operations

Your experience and education

  • Minimum 3+ years of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations / AX consulting experience, with strong expertise in Asset Management

  • Full-cycle Dynamics 365 F&O implementation experience, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and go-live support

  • Strong understanding of maintenance management processes, including:

    • Preventive and corrective maintenance

    • Work order lifecycle management

    • Asset and functional location hierarchies

    • Maintenance cost tracking and analysis

  • Experience integrating Asset Management with Supply Chain Management (Inventory, Procurement, Warehouse Management) and Finance

  • Knowledge of one or more additional functional areas such as Supply Chain Management, Finance, Project Management and Accounting, or Manufacturing is preferred

  • Dynamics 365 F&O / AX certifications in Asset Management, SCM, or related disciplines will be considered in the selection process

  • Self-motivated, articulate, and able to lead discussions and inspire client audiences

  • Strong process analysis, redesign, and documentation experience
