Physical Therapist (PT) 

Location: Coconut Creek, FL

Salary: $85,000–$90,000 per year, depending on experience + full benefits

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Patient Load: Approximately 1–2 patients per hour

Setting: Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapy Office

About the Position

We are hiring a Physical Therapist in Coconut Creek, FL for a full-time outpatient orthopedic role.

You’ll work with patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, pain, mobility limitations, and other musculoskeletal conditions. The work centers on evaluating what is affecting movement and function, creating a practical treatment plan, and helping each patient make steady progress toward everyday activities, work, recreation, or sport.

With approximately 1–2 patients scheduled per hour, you’ll have time to evaluate progress and provide hands-on, individualized care.

Responsibilities

  • Perform initial physical therapy evaluations and follow-up assessments 
  • Identify strength, mobility, flexibility, balance, and movement limitations 
  • Develop individualized plans of care based on clinical findings 
  • Provide therapeutic exercise, functional training, and orthopedic rehabilitation 
  • Monitor how patients respond to treatment and adjust plans when necessary 
  • Teach home exercise programs and safe movement strategies 
  • Record treatment notes, evaluations, progress reports, and discharge documentation 

Qualifications

  • Current Physical Therapist license in Florida 
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Science in Physical Therapy (MSPT) 
  • Previous outpatient physical therapy experience 
  • Experience working with orthopedic or musculoskeletal conditions 
  • Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
