Summary

The Event Operations Attendant is responsible for the setup, maintenance, and breakdown of event spaces to ensure successful execution of meetings, banquets, conferences, and special events. This position plays a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by ensuring rooms are properly arranged, equipment is functional, and event standards are met.

  • Set up event spaces according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and diagrams

  • Arrange tables, chairs, staging, dance floors, podiums, linens, and decor

  • Ensure proper placement of signage and directional materials

  • Monitor events to respond to layout changes or operational needs

  • Maintain cleanliness of meeting rooms, hallways, and storage areas

  • Assist banquet and catering teams as needed during events

  • Break down event spaces and return equipment to storage

  • Safely transport equipment using carts and dollies

  • Report maintenance or safety concerns immediately

  • Follow all safety, fire code, and company procedures
