At Salt Lake City Marriott University Park, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and memorable experiences to every guest. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Conference Service Supervisor to lead our banquet operations and uphold our commitment to excellence.


Position Overview:
The Conference Service Supervisor is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of all banquet functions to ensure outstanding service and guest satisfaction. This role requires a hands-on leader with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all banquet operations, including setup, service, and breakdown of events.
  • Work closely with Sales, Catering, and Culinary teams to ensure event specifications are met.
  • Train, schedule, and lead banquet staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to service standards.
  • Oversee the setup of banquet rooms according to event orders and guest expectations.
  • Monitor and manage inventory of banquet supplies and equipment.
  • Maintain a high level of guest satisfaction by consistently delivering quality service and responding to feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Supervise event logistics and proactively resolve any issues or changes.

Qualifications:

  • Banquet or event leadership experience in a hotel, conference center, or similar environment.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible schedule, including availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Knowledge of banquet operations, audio/visual equipment, and food & beverage service standards.
