JOB SUMMARY
The Exhibits Account Manager is responsible for generating revenue by selling exhibit space, targeting new organizations and opportunities, while maintaining current exhibitor relationships. The role collaborates with the Exhibits Director and Strategic Partnership team to cross-sell exhibit space and sponsorship items.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required. Equivalent experience accepted.

Experience
  • 3+ years of trade show or sales experience required.

Skills & Abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with various individuals on a team.
  • Experience working with outside vendors on logistical requirements.
  • Ability to maintain organized records and materials with accuracy.
  • Understanding of brand voice, tone, and strategic messaging for target audiences across multiple platforms.

JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES
Sales & Revenue Generation
  • Utilize telephone solicitation, electronic and written correspondence, and face-to-face meetings to reach the budgeted exhibit hall revenue target for each conference.
  • Research and develop a list of potential exhibitors for each conference.
  • Cross-reference exhibitors for other Veterinary Conferences to ensure they are attending WVC.
  • Collaborate with the Exhibits Director on innovative ideas and strategies to fill the Exhibit Hall.
  • Maintain regular communication with assigned accounts regarding Viticus Group activities.
  • Ensure exhibit contract agreements are completed, executed, and updated by required deadlines.

Client Relationship Management
  • Develop and maintain relationships with exhibitors and sponsors through email, phone, video, and in-person meetings.
  • Follow up with exhibitors to collect mandatory paperwork for participation in the Annual Conference.
  • Manage on-site exhibitor activity and relationships at the Viticus Group Annual Conference.

Exhibitor Logistics & Support
  • Manage the fulfillment of exhibit logistics and ensure exhibitor satisfaction with return on investment.
  • Maintain knowledge of conference timelines and exhibitor deadlines.
  • Provide accounting and exhibitors with required invoices and paperwork accurately and promptly.
  • Assist with and maintain exhibitor priority points for partner-related activities.
  • Maintain a suitable database of all exhibitor activity, such as conversations and progress timelines.

Exhibitor Management Software
  • Utilize Exhibitor Management Software for adding companies, assigning space, developing booths, and processing floor plans.

Sales Materials & Documentation
  • Oversee the design, production, and distribution of sales materials, including PowerPoint presentations, digital portals, fulfillment specifications, and assigned proposals.

Team Collaboration & New Initiatives
  • Assist the Operations and Sponsorship team with any new initiatives that have been implemented.

  • Demonstrated success in sales through measurable results.
  • Effective collaboration with team members and departments, considering various opinions and perspectives.
  • Consistent and positive representation of Viticus Group.
