Job description

About the Job Traffic Control Specialist needed. Arrow Construction is now hiring experienced Traffic Control Specialist. A Traffic Control Specialist is responsible for directing and controlling traffic in construction or work zones to keep workers, drivers, and pedestrians safe. This position sets up traffic control devices such as cones, signs, and barricades, monitors traffic flow, and communicates with the crew to maintain safe work conditions. Key Duties:
  • Direct traffic safely around construction zones
  • Set up and remove traffic control signs, cones, and barricades
  • Follow safety regulations and company procedures
  • Communicate with supervisors and crew members
  • Monitor traffic conditions and report hazards
Requirements:
  • Valid Traffic Control/Flagger Certification required
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Good communication and awareness of surroundings
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift traffic control equipment
  • Valid driver's license may be required
Job details:
  • All qualified candidates must have a clean valid California Driver's License.
