Job description

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team for a mix of residential and commercial projects. This role offers an excellent long-term career opportunity with a direct path to a leadership and service manager role, allowing the right candidate to eventually take over field operations as the owner focuses on business development.

Residential Duties:

  • Mostly kitchen and bath remodel projects (very few new builds)
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical issues in single-family homes and multi-family units.
  • Install, maintain, and upgrade electrical panels, breakers, switches, outlets, ceiling fans, and lighting fixtures.
  • Wire new residential constructions, additions, and smart-home automation systems.
  • Ensure all residential work is up to current NEC (National Electrical Code) and local codes.

Commercial Duties:

  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings (offices, retail, restaurants, etc.).
  • Run, bend, and install EMT/rigid conduit and pull wire according to schematics.
  • Install and service 3-phase systems, transformers, switchgears, and commercial lighting/ballasts.
  • Read and accurately interpret commercial , wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.

General Duties:

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment on all job sites.
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners, property managers, and general contractors.
  • Mentor and guide apprentices as needed.
  • Complete digital work orders and log materials accurately.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • License: Preferred
  • Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience spanning both residential and commercial sectors.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in using electrical test equipment, bending conduit, and reading blueprints.
  • Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, work in confined spaces (crawls/attics), and stand for long periods.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (essential for driving company vehicles).
  • Tools: Must possess basic hand tools / Some tools provided from company
