THIS POSITION IS "SEASONAL" FOR SUMMER MONTHS.

Position purpose: To provide excellent customer service to our customers

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks: (material responsibilities and essentials duties)

  • Demonstrate friendly and helpful service to all customers consistently
  • Greet all customers around you with a smile and/or verbal greeting
  • Ensure the safety of all passengers at all times, remain alert for safety issues and resolve any safety concerns before operating rides
  • Operate train and carousel according to procedure at all times
  • Provide a fun family atmosphere for all the visitors
  • Maintain knowledge of current events taking place at Casa de Fruta
  • Encourage customers to visit all the different businesses
  • Complete all inspection forms neatly and completely
  • Handle difficult/challenging situations with a high level of professionalism
  • Contact a manager immediately for any problems or difficult situations
  • Read and understand the Train and Carousel manual
  • Fully understand all safety and operational responsibilities pertaining to the ride
  • Present a clean, well-groomed appearance every day
  • Complete housekeeping tasks as needed
  • Thank all customers at the completion of the ride

Qualifications: (minimum educational and experience qualifications, required proficiencies with specialized knowledge, required certifications, etc.)

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Have basic math skills, able to follow verbal and written instructions, able to independently evaluate current conditions against standard and perform tasks necessary to bring areas to standard
  • Must be able to comprehend and fill out inspection forms
  • Having basic mechanical knowledge is helpful
  • Basic First Aid and CPR Certification is preferred, training will be provided as needed
  • Excellent verbal skills are required to communicate to guests

Special Position Requirements: (Any hazard, risk, security issue or related special conditions which apply to the position, i.e. chemicals used, equipment used, cash handling, etc.)

Some exposure to cleaning products, (bleach, detergents, window cleaners, furniture polish, etc ), paint, diesel fuel, lubrication oil, and other chemicals is required.

Equipment used: leaf blower and basic mechanical tools.
