General Manager (DOE) – Condominium Association

Location: Annandale, VA

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Salary: $90,000–$105,000 annually (based on qualifications and experience)A well-established condominium association in Annandale is seeking an experienced and proactive General Manager to oversee the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the community

Interview Timeline: Immediate interviews; the current General Manager will be departing in approximately 35 days.

Position Summary


A well-established condominium association in Annandale is seeking an experienced and proactive General Manager to oversee the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the community. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, highly organized, customer-service focused, and able to take ownership of responsibilities with minimal supervision.


Key Responsibilities

  • Professionally manage all incoming and outgoing communications with residents, homeowners, board members, and vendors via phone, email, and in person.
  • Maintain and update resident, homeowner, and Board of Directors records across community databases and management systems.
  • Oversee office supply inventory and coordinate purchasing as needed.
  • Perform general administrative duties, including filing, correspondence, document preparation, mail distribution, and community notices.
  • Process condominium questionnaires, prepare and distribute resident welcome packages, and monitor vendor invoices and payments.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between residents and onsite departments, including maintenance and housekeeping, to ensure timely resolution of community issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all front desk and office procedures, including incident reporting and emergency response protocols.
  • Support the Board of Directors and assist with community operations to maintain a high level of resident satisfaction.


Qualifications

  • Previous experience in property management, condominium or homeowners association management, or a similar leadership role is preferred.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with BuildingLink property management software is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus.
