Truck Driver - Non-CDL

$22-25/hr

Condado: Truck Driver - Non-CDL 
Compensation: $22-25/hour

What You’ll Do:  
Our Commissary Truck Driver will be responsible for the delivery of fresh food to our restaurant stores. We have various routes in several Midwestern states.

Responsibilities:  
  • Making deliveries on assigned route.
  • Loads delivery vehicle with parcels scheduled for delivery.
  • Delivers loads to correct addresses, obtaining signatures and proof of receipt, when necessary.
  • Back hauling orders and paper products.
  • Performs pre-op and post-op inspections on trucks.
  • Follows Depart. of Transportation (DOT) requirements (Electronic Log Device (ELD)/paper logs, Hours of Service (HOS)).
  • Submits weekly expense reports.
  • Overnight stays required for certain routes (# of days limited). 
Qualifications:  
  • Must have a valid state driver’s license. (Required)
  • Previous driving experience with large vehicles (16ft+). (Required)
  • Experience working with Electric Log Device (ELD) and paper logs. (Required)
  • Knowledge of Depart. of Transportation (DOT) and Hours of Service (HOS) Rules and Regulations. (Required)
  • Ability to plan delivery routes based on Hours of Service (HOS). (Required)
  • Experience transporting food and/or working with refrigerated units. (Preferred)
  • Must successfully pass pre-employment screenings (i.e. Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), criminal background check, drug screen). 
  • Must maintain acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and criminal background.  
  • Must maintain a Depart. of Transportation (DOT) physical medical card (i.e. pre-employment medical qualification). 
Physical Requirements: 
  • The team member will sit for 4-8 hours at a time.
  • The team member will occasionally kneel or squat while loading the hand trick/dolly 
  • The team member will continuously lift or carry 0-25 pounds, occasionally lift or carry 25-50 pounds 
  • The team member will frequently push and pull 80-100 pounds utilizing a hand truck/dolly.
