Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Concrete Finisher to join a growing civil construction team supporting commercial, site development, and infrastructure projects throughout Northern Nevada.
This role requires a highly skilled concrete professional with extensive experience in civil and commercial flatwork. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, understands concrete placement and finishing techniques, works safely, and consistently delivers high-quality results on demanding projects.
Key Responsibilities
Concrete Placement & Finishing

  • Perform all aspects of commercial and civil concrete finishing.
  • Finish:
    • Sidewalks
    • Curb & Gutter
    • Valley Gutters
    • Driveways
    • Approaches
    • ADA Ramps
    • Commercial Slabs
    • Site Concrete
    • Miscellaneous Flatwork
  • Assist with concrete placement, screeding, bull floating, edging, jointing, broom finishing, hand finishing, and machine finishing.
  • Produce smooth, level, and properly textured finishes that meet project specifications and quality standards.

Layout & Grade Work

  • Read grades and elevations from survey stakes, string lines, lasers, and layout information provided by field leadership.
  • Maintain proper finishing techniques while accounting for weather conditions, curing requirements, and concrete set times.
  • Install and finish control joints, expansion joints, and dowels as required.

Quality Control

  • Inspect work throughout the finishing process to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
  • Maintain high production levels while delivering quality workmanship.
  • Identify and resolve finish issues before project completion.

Site Support

  • Assist with forming, stripping, cleanup, and project closeout activities.
  • Support curb machine (slip-form) operations when necessary.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition.

Safety

  • Follow OSHA regulations and all jobsite safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety and accountability.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of commercial or civil concrete finishing experience.
