A concrete laborer, or concrete form laborer, specializes in building structures from concrete materials. Their duties include designing and building forms, pouring concrete, then spreading and smoothing it using various tools. They may also apply stains to finish the concrete. This is an entry-level career, but to be successful you should have excellent physical stamina and enjoy working with your hands.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Concrete Laborer, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Concrete Laborer, you need basic construction knowledge, physical stamina, and familiarity with concrete mixing and finishing techniques, often learned on the job or through vocational training. Experience using tools such as trowels, screeds, power mixers, and occasionally laser levels is common, and OSHA safety certification is often preferred.
