Job Title: Lab & Field Technician

Location: Raleigh, NC

We specialize in delivering high-quality engineering services across various sectors, including renewable energy, industrial, and commercial projects and delivered more than 100 projects in 17 states.

Position Overview: We are seeking laboratory and field technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong motivation, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively on multidisciplinary projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Will be working in a soils and concrete testing EEDAS laboratory and at various field across the different states when necessary.
  • Performs basic laboratory testing including but not limited to organic content, grain size analysis, compaction, processing of material, and compression testing of concrete specimens. 
  • Field work includes but is not limited to soils and concrete sampling, nuclear density gauge testing, field inspection, and miscellaneous construction activities. 
  • Oversee fieldwork, including soil sampling, testing, and site inspections.
  • Assist laboratory testing and equipment setup in EEDAS lab. 

Qualifications:


  • Minimum High School Diploma.
  • NCDOT/ACI laboratory testing certifications a plus
  • Experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
  • The ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
  • The ability to work weekends and extended hours as needed
  • The ability to travel and work at remote sites as needed
  • Excellent driving record within company standards
