As one of the nations largest single-source providers of construction contract labor, Commercial Trade Source (CTS) is currently expanding our field team by accepting applications for experienced commercial concrete finishers in the Lafayette, IN area.

What You’ll Do

As a CTS Concrete Finisher, you’ll:

· Spreads concrete to specified depth and workable consistency, using float to bring water to surface and produce soft topping.

· Levels, smooths, and shapes surface of freshly poured concrete, using power trowel, or wets and rubs concrete with abrasive stone to impart finish.

· Removes rough or defective spots from concrete surfaces, using power grinder or chisel and hammer and patches holes with fresh concrete or epoxy compound.

· Molds expansion joints and edges, using edging tools, jointers, and straightedge.

· May sprinkle colored stone chips, powered steel, or coloring powder on concrete to produce prescribed finish.

· May produce rough concrete surfaces, using broom.

· Must have commercial concrete experience.

· Expect to be able to work independently and with others depending on scope of work.

· Ability to communicate effectively with team and other field employees.

· Must be able to perform general physical activities common to the concrete trade

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
