Description
Position Purpose
The Lead Artist Concierge is responsible for professional, efficient, and confidential service to guest artists and their teams while at Allied Solutions Center for the Performing Arts. The Lead Artist Concierge serves as a part-time hospitality point-of-contact for the venue, along with the Concierge Services Manager and all part-time Artist Concierges.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
To be successful in this role, an individual must be able to perform the functions listed below in a satisfactory manner. The company will make reasonable accommodations to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these functions.
Concierge Services for Guest Artist
  • As scheduled by the Concierge Services Manager, coordinates advancing for guest artists, pertaining to ground transportation, hotel accommodations (if required), hospitality and catering, including dietary requirements, in accordance with budget set up by Vice President of Programming
  • Purchase and order required items and equipment, per artist rider
  • Maintain and launder table linens, towels, etc. for the department
  • Work with chef and outside caterers to develop meal menus for guest artists and crews
  • Assist with scheduling Artist Concierges
  • Work with Front of House and Development teams as needed to arrange artist Meet & Greets and VIP Events with donors and patrons
  • Work show days, meet and welcome tour staff and serve as their point-of-contact during show days
  • Research and maintain relationships with local vendors for hotel accommodations, restaurants, rental cars, car service, and other amenities to be used by guest artists.
  • Code monthly expenses for approval

Internal Hospitality
  • Order or purchase ASCPA crew hospitality items including coffee, water, and snacks
  • Assist Events Team as needed with internal events (board breakfast, bookies, etc.)

Transportation
  • The Lead Artist Concierge must possess a valid Driver's License and have and maintain a good driving record.
  • May be required to drive a 14-person van, periodically, as well as rent vehicles.

Requirements
Education and Experience
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education and/or experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years of customer service or event planning experience
  • Sewing and Wardrobe experience a plus
  • Experience with Paylocity and Momentus Elite a plus

Supervisory Responsibility
This position occasionally assigns tasks to Artist Concierge team members on show days.
Work Environment
Coordinates and performs food set-up, service and clean-up. This position operates in a performing arts center, interacting directly with guest artists and their teams, also using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, etc.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time, non-exempt position eligible for many benefits including participation in the 401(k) plan, paid volunteer hours, and the Employee Assistance Program. This position averages 15-20 hours per week and requires the ability to work a flexible and variable schedule including days, evenings and weekends.
Travel
Local travel to airports, hotels, and running errands as needed.
