Clarendale Clayton is recruiting for a hospitality focused Concierge. This role is responsible for meeting and greeting residents, guests, prospective employees, suppliers, vendors, and outside service providers in a warm and professional manner on a daily basis. They are the first face someone sees when visiting our community!

Schedule: Full-time opportunity, Monday - Friday with some weekend hours 

Salary: Starting at $16/hour

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Concierge:

  • Provide ongoing telephone coverage.
  • Solve issues presented by residents, guests, vendors, and suppliers in a manner so that both the organizational objectives are met, as well as the individuals feel they were served appropriately. Keep difficult situations from escalating.
  • Accept delivery packages, document receipt of packages in log book, and notify the resident (recipient) of delivery
  • Deliver packages 
  • Prepare maintenance work orders as requested by residents and staff
  • Heavy computer use with Microsoft 
  • Assist the Business Office Manager with projects/assignments.
  • Other duties as needed 

Hours: Mon - Fri 8am -4:30pm - May cover some occasional weekends as needed 

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

  • Multi line phone experience 
  • Must demonstrate excellent telephone communication skills
  • Must be comfortable with Microsoft Word, heavy Calendar bookings, and email
  • Must be able to navigate with Excel. 
  • Previous logistics is a huge plus 
  • Previous work in a senior living community a plus 
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
