THE ROLE
The Conversion Crew Lead assists in the supervision of the conversions to accommodate sports, entertainment and concert productions and ensures that conversions are completed safely, in the configuration needed for each event, and in a timely, thorough manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Physically perform and assist with event setups, changeovers, and daily operational tasks
  • Act on all relevant information from Operations Manager and Event Manager for event setups and changeovers.
  • Assist with overnight conversion team to ensure appropriate flooring, risers and portable seating are set for incoming talent/events.
  • Participate in day-to-day operations of the facility
  • Perform facility operational tasks required in keeping up the facility on non-event days
  • Work closely with operations and other departments on various projects as needed

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads a small team of part time employees through the conversion process.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
  • A minimum education level of: High School Diploma or its equivalency
  • Ability and opportunity to gain working knowledge of facility operations, changeovers and setups
  • Working knowledge of operations equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, staging, basketball floors, football, hockey, etc.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays as event schedule requires
  • Ability to meet deadlines and function in a fast-paced setting
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted
  • Able to communicate effectively
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task
