Job description

Job Description
The performance crew facilitates concerts by service as stage crew, ushers, and/or attendance scanners. Stage crew includes the setup of chairs, stands, risers, pianos, and other equipment (though not percussion or sound equipment) as needed for the particular event. Ushers welcome the public, hand out programs, and coordinate latecomers. Attendance scanners use a computer to scan student IDs at the beginning and ends of concerts. Some familiarity with concert operations is preferred. Work hours are primarily evenings and weekends. The number of hours per week is flexible due to the nature of the concert schedule, workers may tailor the number of hours they work to their needs and availability. Opportunity for promotion available after at least one semester.
