Description
Position Summary
This position will be tasked with the day-to-day security of Green Peak Innovation facilities including SkyMint, Silo59 and SkyMint retail locations.
Examples of Security Guard Job Tasks:
  • Perform roving patrol
  • Log visitors and validate credentials

  • Prevent employee theft
  • Ability to learn and proficiently operate security system
  • Identify internal and external security risks
  • Other tasks as assigned by Director of Security or Security Manager

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Possession of current, valid, Michigan concealed carry weapon permit

  • Possession of a smart phone that can be used in the course of employment
  • Military, security or law enforcement experience preferred
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Must be able to pass criminal background check
  • Able to perform duties related to moderate to ardous physical exertion involving standing for prolonged periods, walking, running, and climbing stairs or ladders
