The Regional Vice President (RVP) is responsible for the profitable operation of all apartment communities in the region as well as the assigned corporate P&L division. The RVP is responsible for assigned communities, Regional Portfolio Managers and Senior Regional Portfolio Managers, and will maintain CONAM's fiduciary responsibilities in the supervision and direction of the operation of the apartment communities and the corporate division.
What We're Looking For:
We are seeking a skilled Regional Vice President to join our team in Phoenix, AZ This position will be responsible for two regions AZ and NV (Las Vegas Region)
This is a full-time position with full benefits. Pay range: $185,000-$225,000 annual salary.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing and Leasing
  • Effectively measure and track property-level leasing performance to the extent necessary to ensure that owner and budget objectives are met.

Financial and Reporting
  • Financial results for the assigned corporate region are measured against the goals and objectives stated in the region's annual operating budget.

Supervisory
  • Manage all corporate, regional-level, and site associates assigned in accordance with local, state, and federal employment laws.

Education and Training
  • Monitor training compliance for all associates within assigned region and implement corrective action where necessary.

Recruitment
  • Work with Talent Acquisitions team to ensure that RPMs and site level staff are actively engaged in the recruitment and onboarding process for open positions.

Legal
  • Ensure all business within the region is conducted in accordance with fair housing and fair employment laws and regulations.

Regulatory Compliance
  • Be familiar with the regulatory programs pertaining to each property.

Customer Service / Communication
  • Proactively communicate with owners on the performance of each property within assigned portfolio.

Risk Management
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and the CONAM Injury and Illness Prevention Program

General
  • Comply with state and local real estate laws and licensing requirements.
    Maintain an active real estate license, as required and instructed by the designated broker.

New business development
  • Actively seek and report on new business opportunities to grow the region, portfolio and company.

All Other Duties as assigned.
WHY YOU ARE THE PERFECT FIT:
  • 3-5 years experience as a Regional Vice President in the multifamily management field required
  • 7+ Years in the multi family Industry
  • Act as liaison between ownership and management teams to support operational objectives
  • Lead, mentor, coach, and take managerial responsibility for regional team and onsite associates
  • Oversee budgeting and reporting; manage the marketing and leasing efforts for all properties in the portfolio
  • Manage complex operational matters on a daily basis
  • Experience with Onboarding/Offboarding properties
  • State of CA Real Estate License required
  • Computer knowledge: MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; property management software knowledge
  • Must have a valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance coverage; travel throughout several markets required
