COMSEC Security Program Analyst
The Opportunity:
Provide technical and financial analytic support to the client's Communications Security (COMSEC), Cryptographic, and Cybersecurity programs and efforts to ensure requirements align with Navy, Joint, and DoD strategic COMSEC and cybersecurity goals and objectives. Conduct research and analysis on COMSEC, cryptography, cybersecurity, and IT network technical and financial requirements, budgets, and policy compliance to support the development of information papers and briefings for senior client leadership. Actively participate in the planning and support of DoD COMSEC, network, and cybersecurity meetings to assess policy, requirements, and warfare capabilities to ensure the client's positions are accurately presented. Create analytic products to support all phases of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) cycle, including Program Objective Memorandum (POM) development, integration of COMSEC and technical requirements, and efforts to track developing strategies. Provide programmatic analysis and assessments of information assurance and cybersecurity requirements and capabilities to support and defend the client's strategic investments.
You Have:
  • Experience with COMSEC, Cryptographic, Encryption, or Cybersecurity operations for Navy and DoD programs
  • Knowledge of PPBE and requirements generation processes
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Ability to leverage technical, analytic, and communication to develop and brief material to senior client leadership to support decision-making
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience in COMSEC, IT, Command, Control, Communication, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (C4ISR), Space, or Unmanned Systems, or 10+ years of experience in COMSEC, IT, C4ISR, Space, or Unmanned Systems in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with Navy staff as military, civilian, or contractor in OPNAV or Navy Systems Commands (SYSCOMs)
  • Experience with Navy Financial Management or IT systems and databases
  • Knowledge of Navy cryptographic systems or devices currently in service and under development
  • Ability to work independently, collaboratively, creatively, and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possession of excellent organizational skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
