Overview
The Manager reports to the Associate Director and supervises a team of Senior Associates and Associates. The Manager develops digital strategies and coordinates media plans for our client's products and/or services. They will work closely with the media and analytics team to maintain quality control of the media campaigns in market and continually evaluate and improve performance against client goals. The Manager is key to building and maintaining industry publisher relationships. We are looking for a strategic thinker who can be a mentor to junior planners, a leader within the agency, and a partner with our clients.
Responsibilities
  • Provide media expertise, share media knowledge, and provide continuous feedback
  • Develop digital media strategies and a tactical approach
  • Train and mentor planners on best practices of online media planning/buying
  • Assign and manage workload of media planners
  • Work closely with publishing partners to build and maintain relationships
  • Manage client budgets across multiple tactics (display, mobile, video, paid search, etc.)
  • Foster an environment of shared learning and act as a trusted source of media information for agency and client meetings
  • Partners with Analytics, Ad Ops, and Creative teams
  • Provides strategic insights for weekly client reports
  • Writes media POVs

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of overall media planning experience, minimum of 2 years online media planning is preferred
  • Demonstrated success in mentoring and developing junior staff
  • Exceptional verbal/written communication and organization skills
  • Technical proficiency, particularly with the following tools:
    • Prisma, Mediaocean, MBOX
    • Nielsen Net Rating, Comscore, AdRelevance, eMarketer, Forrester
    • Third-party ad measurement and traffictools (e.g. Integral Ad Science)
    • Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Solid presentation skills
  • Knowledge of Ad Serving technology
  • Knowledge of media tools (such as comScore Inc.)

Compensation Range: USD $75,050.00 - USD $115,024.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
